The Illuminated Hymnal

The Illuminated Hymnal takes these hymn-based devotions to the artistic world, combining a love for hymnody with a love for creativity. Each spread is inspired by the symbolism and imagery painted within each hymn's lyrics. Recommended for adults, this coloring book is a keepsake that can be passed down through generations or completed as a family for a group devotional time.

 

Carolyn Williams graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago with a degree in illustration. After an extensive career as a graphic artist, she decided to pursue her first love and become a full-time freelance illustrator. She enjoys creating bright, whimsical illustrations inspired by nature, the seasons, and her passion for children’s education. Her work can be found in adult coloring books as well as activity books for young children. Originally from Illinois, she now lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and two children.
